Everyone, come see how deep I am

I've resisted creating an actual blog for a long time now. I'm not really sure why. Perhaps I didn't want to buy into this whole generation of splashing your feelings all over the world wide web. I like to think us humans still have some mystery left to us. But who cares. If people want to do that, it's their problem. I just get to read it and make fun of it. Ha...just kidding. So, who knows what the future of this blog holds. Maybe I'll post poetry or talk about politics. You know, the usual. Anything to make me seem interesting and profound. Or maybe I'll just talk about Craig Ferguson from the night before. Yep. Most definitely the last one. I think the purpose of any good blog, though, is to not take yourself too seriously. That's how blogging got a bad rep. Everyone was too uppity and snobbish about their deep thoughts, when in actuality they probably read in another article somewhere else. Because as we all know, there's nothing new under the sun. Except my ideas and thoughts, of course.
